Grenoble is located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of Southeastern France. It lies just at the foot of the French Alps, nicknaming the city the ‘Capital of the Alps’. Grenoble has a population of around 158,180 inhabitants.

Grenoble is surrounded by mountains, making it a popular destination for visiting the Alps.
